In totality, the “comprehensive sensor suite” mentioned above includes 32 sensors including camera, radar, ultrasonic sensors as well as high-resolution Lidar sensors, a technology that Tesla has never opted for in its cars to date.
Another exclusive to the Air is the driver monitoring system that will alert the driver in case he or she is distracted or drowsy while driving.

In addition to the existing features, Lucid Motors says that the DreamDrive is fully future-proofed. The system is ready for upgrades to Level 3 features as they become available.
The company also claims that the DreamDrive is the first ADAS system built on a high-speed Ethernet Ring electric architecture. As per the firm, the architecture provides independent power sources and communications paths for functions like steering, brakes, and sensors.
