Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the Union Budget 2026-27 saying it shows a clear plan for building a New and Developed India. He said the budget gives hope to all Indians and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance and strong leadership. He also congratulated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting the first budget prepared at Kartavya Bhavan.
CM Yogi said the budget supports the hopes and dreams of India's 145 crore people. He highlighted key areas of the budget: Rs 12 lakh crore plus capital expenditure for strong infrastructure, funding for seven new rail corridors, support for healthcare and AYUSH services and special focus on common citizens and women.
Yogi Adityanath welcomed several initiatives aimed at young people and students: Girls' hostels in every district, new institutions for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), and better world-class infrastructure for youth. He said these steps will help young people reach their goals and get better opportunities.
The Chief Minister said the budget's broad reforms will make life simpler for regular people. He added that it will speed up India's economic growth and create new chances for youth, women, farmers, entrepreneurs and common citizens. He said the middle class and ordinary people had high hopes from this budget.
CM Yogi noted that last year's GST reforms helped many people. This year, simplifying the Income Tax Act from April will make it easier for everyone to file tax returns. He said encouraging more people to pay income tax will help in nation-building.
In conclusion, Yogi said the budget was made keeping every section of society in mind including youth, women, farmers and entrepreneurs. He said it shows India as a fast-growing economy moving toward becoming a developed nation.
